God make my life a little light
Within the world to glow;
A little flame that burneth bright,
Wherever I may go.
God make my life a little flower
That giveth joy to all,
Content to bloom in native bower,
Although the place be small.
God make my life a little song
That comforteth the sad
That helpeth others to be strong,
And makes the singer glad.
God make my life a little staff
Whereon the weak may rest,
That so what health and strength I have
May serve my neighbors best.
God make my life a little hymn
Of tenderness and praise,
Of faith, that never waxeth dim,
In all His wondrous ways.
Words: Matilda B. B. Edwards, in Good Words, 1873, p. 393.
Tune: Unknown: See Here

Songs : Everyday; With All I am; {[God Make My Life a Little Light] Canceled}
Guitar : Shane
Singer : 3y
)
What to say, Lord? It's
You who gave me life and I
Can't explain just how
Much You mean to me now
That You have saved me, Lord
I give all that I am to You
That everyday I could
Be a light that shines Your name
Everyday, Lord, I'll
Learn to stand upon Your word
And I pray that I
I might come to know You more
That You would guide me with every single step I take, that
Everyday I can
Be Your light unto the world
Everyday, it's You I live for
Everyday, I'll follow after You
Everyday, I'll walk with You, my Lord

Speech Day, 2010
Time passes so fast!
Speech day of 2010, the last performance for me in Temasek Secondary School choir Temasek Chorale.
After a tight schedule in the morning,
I came in late to choir.
The same dressing as last year,
however different mood as compared.
This is not other but the last performance in TMS Choir.
Even I had not been very sure about what my lyrics were before stepping onto the stage,
by the time I opened my mouth, I sang as good as any of my previous times.
It is a memorable day that sums up the two years' choir experience,
though on the other hand, it indicates also the approaching O' levels.
Wish us all have a meaningful year.

the light of the world
today when i was rearranging some handphone photos,
an underexposed photo of NLC came into my sight.
the white cross on top of our church was so shiny as compare to the background.
so i decided to process the photo into an artwork.
when i editing the photo, focusing on the shiny light, i remembered a verse:
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."(John 8:12)
It encourages me to live in the light of life.
I hope the others can be benefited from this also,
so i made it a wallpaper of 1440*900 as according to my desktop size,
can be downloaded by clicking the image above.
and thinking more from the light of the world,
Matthew 5:14-16 (New International Version)
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Brothers and sisters, do you know that not only Jesus Christ is the light of the world, so are we!
We need to live out up to our standard so the we can be a living testimony to this world.
